l would like to share my experience after comparing and testing two soundbars – Samsung HW-N850 vs VIZIO SB4451-C0. The Samsung HW-N850 was rated 8.6, while the VIZIO SB4451-C0 has a rating 7.2. The soundbars are equipped with a different number of buttons, power, input, volume down, volume up for the HW-N850 and power, input, Bluetooth, volume down, volume up for the SB4451-C0.
Each of the models under consideration has active amplification type. A noticeable difference is the number of channels that HW-N850 has 5.1.2 and SB4451-C0 has 5.1. The built-in subwoofer is not implemented in any of these models. An external subwoofer can be connected to any of the units in this comparison. Rate 7 out of 10 received the Samsung HW-N850 for audio features and specs, but the VIZIO SB4451-C0 received 8 out of 10.
AirPlay supported by both soundbars. Each of the competitors can play content from Spotify.
Both models have a wireless Wi-Fi interface. Soundbars from this comparison have Bluetooth support. There are 2/0 HDMI inputs/outputs in the Samsung HW-N850 versus 1/0 HDMIs in the VIZIO SB4451-C0. As in the HW-N850, so in the SB4451-C0 there is the HDMI Audio Return Channel (ARC). Connecting devices via USB is possible in both models. We rated the connectivity of the HW-N850 at 7 out of 10, while the SB4451-C0 was rated 8/10. Each of the soundbars can be controlled using the application. Dolby Atmos audio decoder is onboard the HW-N850. The HW-N850 can work with surround sound due to DTS:X support. The HW-N850 was rated 9/10, while the SB4451-C0 received a mark of 4/10 for multichannel surround.
