l would like to share my experience after comparing and testing two soundbars – Samsung HW-LST70T vs VIZIO SB4451-C0. The Samsung HW-LST70T was rated 6.4, while the VIZIO SB4451-C0 has a rating 7.2. The soundbars are equipped with a different number of buttons, volume down, volume up, power, source for the HW-LST70T and power, input, Bluetooth, volume down, volume up for the SB4451-C0.
Each of the models under consideration has active amplification type. A noticeable difference is the number of channels that HW-LST70T has 3.0 and SB4451-C0 has 5.1. A built-in subwoofer is available only in the Samsung HW-LST70T. An external subwoofer can be connected to any of the units in this comparison. Rate 6 out of 10 received the Samsung HW-LST70T for audio features and specs, but the VIZIO SB4451-C0 received 8 out of 10. Each of the competitors can play content from Spotify.
Both models have a wireless Wi-Fi interface. Soundbars from this comparison have Bluetooth support. 1/0 HDMI inputs/outputs are in each of soundbars. The HDMI Audio Return Channel (ARC) is implemented only in the SB4451-C0. Connecting devices via USB is possible in both models. We rated the connectivity of the HW-LST70T at 6 out of 10, while the SB4451-C0 was rated 8/10. Each of the soundbars can be controlled using the application. The Samsung HW-LST70T equipped with a microphone. The models under consideration can become part of a multiroom system.
Dolby Atmos audio decoder support is not implemented in either the HW-LST70T or SB4451-C0. Devices from this comparison cannot process surround sound due to lack of DTS:X. The HW-LST70T was rated 5/10, while the SB4451-C0 received a mark of 4/10 for multichannel surround.
