l would like to share my experience after comparing and testing two soundbars – Klipsch R-10B vs VIZIO SB4451-C0. The Klipsch R-10B was rated 5.2, while the VIZIO SB4451-C0 has a rating 6.4. The soundbars are equipped with a different number of buttons, input, mute, volume down, volume up for the R-10B and power, input, Bluetooth, volume down, volume up for the SB4451-C0.
Each of the models under consideration has active amplification type. By the number of channels, the devices do not differ. The built-in subwoofer is not implemented in any of these models. An external subwoofer can be connected to any of the units in this comparison. Rate 7 out of 10 received the Klipsch R-10B for audio features and specs, but the VIZIO SB4451-C0 received 8 out of 10.
AirPlay supported by both soundbars. Both the R-10B and the SB4451-C0 have Google Play Music on board. Each of the competitors can play content from Spotify.
Wireless Internet connection is realized only in the SB4451-C0. Soundbars from this comparison have Bluetooth support. The HDMI Audio Return Channel (ARC) is implemented only in the SB4451-C0. We rated the connectivity of the R-10B at 4 out of 10, while the SB4451-C0 was rated 8/10.
The manufacturer of the SB4451-C0 provides a device control application. Soundbars in this review are not equipped with a microphone. The models under consideration cannot become part of a multiroom system.
Dolby Atmos audio decoder support is not implemented in either the R-10B or SB4451-C0. Devices from this comparison cannot process surround sound due to lack of DTS:X. DTS Virtual:X technology not supported by any of the soundbars in this review. The same score of 2/10 was put to the soundbars for multichannel surround support.
