l would like to share my experience after comparing and testing two soundbars – LG SN9YG vs VIZIO SB4451-C0. The LG SN9YG was rated 7, while the VIZIO SB4451-C0 has a rating 7.2. The soundbars are equipped with a different number of buttons, power, volume down, volume up, function, play/pause, microphone for the SN9YG and power, input, Bluetooth, volume down, volume up for the SB4451-C0.
Each of the models under consideration has active amplification type. A noticeable difference is the number of channels that SN9YG has 5.1.2 and SB4451-C0 has 5.1. The built-in subwoofer is not implemented in any of these models. An external subwoofer can be connected to any of the units in this comparison. Audio features and specs of considered models we rated 8 out of 10 in our ranking. The SB4451-C0 can play audio from Spotify.
Both models have a wireless Wi-Fi interface. Soundbars from this comparison have Bluetooth support. There are 1/1 HDMI inputs/outputs in the LG SN9YG versus 1/0 HDMIs in the VIZIO SB4451-C0. As in the SN9YG, so in the SB4451-C0 there is the HDMI Audio Return Channel (ARC). Connecting devices via USB is possible in both models. The connectivity of each of the models was estimated at 8/10. Each of the soundbars can be controlled using the application. The LG SN9YG equipped with a microphone. The VIZIO SB4451-C0 may become part of a multiroom system.
Dolby Atmos audio decoder is onboard the SN9YG. The SN9YG can work with surround sound due to DTS:X support. The SN9YG was rated 10/10, while the SB4451-C0 received a mark of 4/10 for multichannel surround.
