Yamaha YSP-5600 vs VIZIO SB4451-C0 review

l would like to share my experience after comparing and testing two soundbars – Yamaha YSP-5600 vs VIZIO SB4451-C0. The Yamaha YSP-5600 was rated 8,4, while the VIZIO SB4451-C0 has a rating 7.2. The soundbars are equipped with a different number of buttons, input, volume down, volume up, power for the YSP-5600 and power, input, Bluetooth, volume down, volume up for the SB4451-C0.

Audio features

Each of the models under consideration has active amplification type. A noticeable difference is the number of channels that YSP-5600 has 7.1.2 and SB4451-C0 has 5.1. A built-in subwoofer is available only in the Yamaha YSP-5600. Rate 7 out of 10 received the Yamaha YSP-5600 for audio features and specs, but the VIZIO SB4451-C0 received 8 out of 10.

Streaming services

AirPlay supported by both soundbars. Each of the competitors can play content from Spotify.

Connectivity

Both models have a wireless Wi-Fi interface. Soundbars from this comparison have Bluetooth support. There are 4/1 HDMI inputs/outputs in the Yamaha YSP-5600 versus 1/0 HDMIs in the VIZIO SB4451-C0. As in the YSP-5600, so in the SB4451-C0 there is the HDMI Audio Return Channel (ARC). Connecting devices via USB is possible in both models. We rated the connectivity of the YSP-5600 at 9 out of 10, while the SB4451-C0 was rated 8/10.

Features

Each of the soundbars can be controlled using the application. The Yamaha YSP-5600 equipped with a microphone. The models under consideration can become part of a multiroom system.

Multichannel surround

Dolby Atmos audio decoder is onboard the YSP-5600. The YSP-5600 can work with surround sound due to DTS:X support. The YSP-5600 was rated 8/10, while the SB4451-C0 received a mark of 4/10 for multichannel surround.
