Yamaha ATS-1070 vs LG SK1 review
I had a chance to test and compare two models: Yamaha ATS-1070 vs LG SK1 and this review should help people who are looking for a good soundbar. The Yamaha ATS-1070 was rated 6,6, while the LG SK1 has a rating 4.5.
Audio features
Each of the models under consideration has active amplification type. By the number of channels, the devices do not differ. These rivals can be compared in terms of power, 120 versus 40 according to devices. A built-in subwoofer is available only in the Yamaha ATS-1070. Rate 6 out of 10 received the Yamaha ATS-1070 for audio features and specs, but the LG SK1 received 5 out of 10. The ATS-1070 can play audio from Spotify.
Connectivity
Both models do not have a wireless Wi-Fi interface. Soundbars from this comparison have Bluetooth support. The HDMI Audio Return Channel (ARC) is implemented only in the ATS-1070. The connectivity of each of the models was estimated at 6/10.
Features
The manufacturer of the ATS-1070 provides a device control application. Soundbars in this review are not equipped with a microphone. The models under consideration cannot become part of a multiroom system.
Multichannel surround
Dolby Atmos audio decoder support is not implemented in either the ATS-1070 or SK1. Devices from this comparison cannot process surround sound due to lack of DTS:X. The ATS-1070 was rated 6/10, while the SK1 received a mark of 4/10 for multichannel surround.
