The present review is aimed to compare two soundbars - LG SN6Y vs Yamaha ATS-1070 that are meant to satisfy the needs of cinema and music lovers. Based on our rating, SN6Y has a total rating of 6.2 out of 10 versus 6,6 for ATS-1070. The competitors' control buttons are different: power, volume down, volume up, function and input, mute, volume down, volume up, power, respectively.
Both soundbars have active amplification type. A significant difference between the units in the number of channels, the LG SN6Y has 3.1 versus 2.0 for the Yamaha ATS-1070. The output power is different and equal to 420 (overall) W for the SN6Y versus 120 W for the ATS-1070. Only the Yamaha ATS-1070 has a built-in subwoofer. The LG SN6Y got our rating of 7 out of 10, and the Yamaha ATS-1070 6 for its audio features and specs. Spotify support is available on the ATS-1070.

The HDMI Audio Return Channel (ARC) feature supports both devices. For connectivity, the SN6Y received a rating of 8/10 versus 6/10, respectively. App control is available in every soundbar. A built-in microphone is present only on the SN6Y. Soundbars do not have Multi-room support.
