l would like to share my experience after comparing and testing two soundbars – Samsung HW-N650 vs VIZIO SB4451-C0. The Samsung HW-N650 was rated 7.6, while the VIZIO SB4451-C0 has a rating 7.2. The soundbars are equipped with a different number of buttons, volume down, volume up, input, power for the HW-N650 and power, input, Bluetooth, volume down, volume up for the SB4451-C0.
Each of the models under consideration has active amplification type. By the number of channels, the devices do not differ. The built-in subwoofer is not implemented in any of these models. An external subwoofer can be connected to any of the units in this comparison. Rate 7 out of 10 received the Samsung HW-N650 for audio features and specs, but the VIZIO SB4451-C0 received 8 out of 10.
AirPlay supported by both soundbars. Each of the competitors can play content from Spotify.
Wireless Internet connection is realized only in the SB4451-C0. Soundbars from this comparison have Bluetooth support. 1/0 HDMI inputs/outputs are in each of soundbars. As in the HW-N650, so in the SB4451-C0 there is the HDMI Audio Return Channel (ARC). Connecting devices via USB is possible in both models. We rated the connectivity of the HW-N650 at 7 out of 10, while the SB4451-C0 was rated 8/10.
Each of the soundbars can be controlled using the application. The Samsung HW-N650 equipped with a microphone. The models under consideration can become part of a multiroom system.
Dolby Atmos audio decoder support is not implemented in either the HW-N650 or SB4451-C0. Devices from this comparison cannot process surround sound due to lack of DTS:X. The HW-N650 was rated 6/10, while the SB4451-C0 received a mark of 4/10 for multichannel surround.
