Sonos Arc vs VIZIO SB4451-C0 review

l would like to share my experience after comparing and testing two soundbars – Sonos Arc vs VIZIO SB4451-C0. The Sonos Arc was rated 7, while the VIZIO SB4451-C0 has a rating 7.2. The soundbars are equipped with a different number of buttons, volume down, volume up, play/pause, microphone for the Arc and power, input, Bluetooth, volume down, volume up for the SB4451-C0.

Audio features

Each of the models under consideration has active amplification type. The built-in subwoofer is not implemented in any of these models. An external subwoofer can be connected to any of the units in this comparison. Rate 5 out of 10 received the Sonos Arc for audio features and specs, but the VIZIO SB4451-C0 received 8 out of 10.

Streaming services

The Sonos Arc is equipped with AirPlay 2, but the VIZIO SB4451-C0 has AirPlay on board. Each of the competitors can play content from Spotify.

Connectivity

Both models have a wireless Wi-Fi interface. Soundbars from this comparison have Bluetooth support. 1/0 HDMI inputs/outputs are in each of soundbars. As in the Arc, so in the SB4451-C0 there is the HDMI Audio Return Channel (ARC). We rated the connectivity of the Arc at 7 out of 10, while the SB4451-C0 was rated 8/10. Each of the soundbars can be controlled using the application. The Sonos Arc equipped with a microphone. The VIZIO SB4451-C0 may become part of a multiroom system.

Multichannel surround

Dolby Atmos audio decoder is onboard the Arc. Devices from this comparison cannot process surround sound due to lack of DTS:X. The same score of 4/10 was put to the soundbars for multichannel surround support.
