l would like to share my experience after comparing and testing two soundbars – Vizio V21-H8 vs VIZIO SB4451-C0. The Vizio V21-H8 was rated 5.5, while the VIZIO SB4451-C0 has a rating 7.2. The soundbars are equipped with a different number of buttons, power, volume down, volume up, source, Bluetooth for the V21-H8 and power, input, Bluetooth, volume down, volume up for the SB4451-C0.
Each of the models under consideration has active amplification type. A noticeable difference is the number of channels that V21-H8 has 2.1 and SB4451-C0 has 5.1. The built-in subwoofer is not implemented in any of these models. An external subwoofer connects to the V21-H8 via wired and wireless, but SB4451-C0 has wireless connection type. Rate 6 out of 10 received the Vizio V21-H8 for audio features and specs, but the VIZIO SB4451-C0 received 8 out of 10. The SB4451-C0 can play audio from Spotify.
Wireless Internet connection is realized only in the SB4451-C0. Soundbars from this comparison have Bluetooth support. There are 0/1 HDMI inputs/outputs in the Vizio V21-H8 versus 1/0 HDMIs in the VIZIO SB4451-C0. As in the V21-H8, so in the SB4451-C0 there is the HDMI Audio Return Channel (ARC). Connecting devices via USB is possible in both models. We rated the connectivity of the V21-H8 at 6 out of 10, while the SB4451-C0 was rated 8/10. Each of the soundbars can be controlled using the application. The Vizio V21-H8 equipped with a microphone. The VIZIO SB4451-C0 may become part of a multiroom system.
Dolby Atmos audio decoder support is not implemented in either the V21-H8 or SB4451-C0. Devices from this comparison cannot process surround sound due to lack of DTS:X. The V21-H8 was rated 5/10, while the SB4451-C0 received a mark of 4/10 for multichannel surround.
