The present review is aimed to compare two soundbars - Sony HT-G700 vs LG SN8YG that are meant to satisfy the needs of cinema and music lovers. Based on our rating, HT-G700 has a total rating of 6.2 out of 10 versus 6.8 for SN8YG. Audio features

The HDMI Audio Return Channel (ARC) feature supports both devices. Both soundbars have a USB connector. For connectivity, each of the soundbars received a rating of 8/10. App control is available for the SN8YG. A built-in microphone is present only on the SN8YG. Soundbars do not have Multi-room support.

Multichannel surround

Both devices have support for Dolby Atmos multichannel audio format. The surround sound technology DTS:X is supported by devices under review. For multichannel surround, each of the opponents received 10 points out of 10.
