The present review is aimed to compare two soundbars - Samsung HW-R450 vs Polk Audio Command Bar that are meant to satisfy the needs of cinema and music lovers. Based on our rating, HW-R450 has a total rating of 4 out of 10 versus 6.6 for Command Bar. The competitors' control buttons are different: volume down, volume up, power, source and volume down, volume up, microphone, action, respectively.
Both soundbars have active amplification type. Soundbars have the same number of channels on 2.1. The output power is different and equal to 200 (overall) W for the HW-R450 versus 160 (overall) W for the Command Bar. Competitors do not have a built-in subwoofer. Rivals have wireless connection to separate subwoofer. Both models received our 6 rating of 10 for their audio features and specs.
Soundbars do not have AirPlay support. Spotify support is available on the Command Bar.
Both models do not have WI-FI support. Rivals from our review have Bluetooth support. Only the Command Bar supports HDMI Audio Return Channel (ARC). Both soundbars have a USB connector. For connectivity, the HW-R450 received a rating of 5/10 versus 7/10, respectively. Compared soundbars have no app control. A built-in microphone is present only on the Command Bar. Multi-room is only available for the Polk Audio Command Bar.
