l would like to share my experience after comparing and testing two soundbars – VIZIO SB2920-C6 vs Samsung HW-R450. Both soundbars received a score of 4 in our ranking. The soundbars are equipped with a different number of buttons, power, volume down, volume up, input, Bluetooth for the SB2920-C6 and volume down, volume up, power, source for the HW-R450.
Each of the models under consideration has active amplification type. A noticeable difference is the number of channels that SB2920-C6 has 2.0 and HW-R450 has 2.1. The built-in subwoofer is not implemented in any of these models. An external subwoofer connects to the SB2920-C6 via wired, but HW-R450 has wireless connection type. Rate 5 out of 10 received the VIZIO SB2920-C6 for audio features and specs, but the Samsung HW-R450 received 6 out of 10.
Soundbars do not have AirPlay support. The units in this comparison do not support Spotify.
Both models do not have a wireless Wi-Fi interface. Soundbars from this comparison have Bluetooth support. Neither the SB2920-C6 nor HW-R450 has the HDMI Audio Return Channel (ARC). Connecting devices via USB is possible in both models. The connectivity of each of the models was estimated at 5/10.
None of these soundbars can be controlled using the app. Soundbars in this review are not equipped with a microphone. The models under consideration cannot become part of a multiroom system.
Dolby Atmos audio decoder support is not implemented in either the SB2920-C6 or HW-R450. Devices from this comparison cannot process surround sound due to lack of DTS:X.
