The present review is aimed to compare two soundbars - VIZIO M51ax-J6 vs Denon DHT-S517 that are meant to satisfy the needs of cinema and music lovers. App control is available for the DHT-S517. None of the models under consideration have a built-in microphone. Soundbars do not have Multi-room support.

Both devices have support for Dolby Atmos multichannel audio format. A surround technology DTS:X is supported only by the M51ax-J6. For multichannel surround VIZIO M51ax-J6 got a rating of 8, and Denon DHT-S517 7 out of 10.
