LG S65Q vs Samsung B550 review
If you have already decided that you want to buy a new soundbar, but still don’t know what exactly you want, the LG S65Q vs Samsung B550 comparison is here to offer you two decent solutions. The LG S65Q was rated 5, while the Samsung B550 has a rating 4.6.
Audio features
Each of the models under consideration has active amplification type. A noticeable difference is the number of channels that S65Q has 3.1 and B550 has 2.1. These rivals can be compared in terms of power, 330 (overall) versus 410 (overall) according to devices. The built-in subwoofer is not implemented in any of these models. An external subwoofer can be connected to any of the units in this comparison. Rate 7 out of 10 received the LG S65Q for audio features and specs, but the Samsung B550 received 6 out of 10.
Streaming services
Soundbars do not have AirPlay support. The units in this comparison do not support Spotify.
Connectivity
Both models do not have a wireless Wi-Fi interface. Soundbars from this comparison have Bluetooth support. 1/1 HDMI inputs/outputs are in each of soundbars. As in the S65Q, so in the B550 there is the HDMI Audio Return Channel (ARC). Connecting devices via USB is possible in both models. The connectivity of each of the models was estimated at 7/10.

Multichannel surround
Dolby Atmos audio decoder support is not implemented in either the S65Q or B550. Devices from this comparison cannot process surround sound due to lack of DTS:X. The same score of 6/10 was put to the soundbars for multichannel surround support.
