l would like to share my experience after comparing and testing two soundbars – VIZIO SB36512-F6 vs VIZIO SB4451-C0. The VIZIO SB36512-F6 was rated 7.4, while the VIZIO SB4451-C0 has a rating 7.2. Soundbars have the same set of buttons - power, input, Bluetooth, volume down, volume up.
Each of the models under consideration has active amplification type. A noticeable difference is the number of channels that SB36512-F6 has 5.1.2 and SB4451-C0 has 5.1. The built-in subwoofer is not implemented in any of these models. An external subwoofer can be connected to any of the units in this comparison. Audio features and specs of considered models we rated 8 out of 10 in our ranking. Each of the competitors can play content from Spotify.
Both models have a wireless Wi-Fi interface. Soundbars from this comparison have Bluetooth support. 1/0 HDMI inputs/outputs are in each of soundbars. As in the SB36512-F6, so in the SB4451-C0 there is the HDMI Audio Return Channel (ARC). Connecting devices via USB is possible in both models. The connectivity of each of the models was estimated at 8/10.
Each of the soundbars can be controlled using the application. Soundbars in this review are not equipped with a microphone. The models under consideration can become part of a multiroom system.
Dolby Atmos audio decoder is onboard the SB36512-F6. Devices from this comparison cannot process surround sound due to lack of DTS:X. The SB36512-F6 was rated 7/10, while the SB4451-C0 received a mark of 4/10 for multichannel surround.
