l would like to share my experience after comparing and testing two soundbars – Polk Audio Command Bar vs VIZIO SB4451-C0. The Polk Audio Command Bar was rated 6.6, while the VIZIO SB4451-C0 has a rating 7.2. The soundbars are equipped with a different number of buttons, volume down, volume up, microphone, action for the Command Bar and power, input, Bluetooth, volume down, volume up for the SB4451-C0.
Each of the models under consideration has active amplification type. A noticeable difference is the number of channels that Command Bar has 2.1 and SB4451-C0 has 5.1. The built-in subwoofer is not implemented in any of these models. An external subwoofer can be connected to any of the units in this comparison. Rate 6 out of 10 received the Polk Audio Command Bar for audio features and specs, but the VIZIO SB4451-C0 received 8 out of 10. Each of the competitors can play content from Spotify.
Wireless Internet connection is realized only in the SB4451-C0. Soundbars from this comparison have Bluetooth support. There are 1/1 HDMI inputs/outputs in the Polk Audio Command Bar versus 1/0 HDMIs in the VIZIO SB4451-C0. As in the Command Bar, so in the SB4451-C0 there is the HDMI Audio Return Channel (ARC). Connecting devices via USB is possible in both models. We rated the connectivity of the Command Bar at 7 out of 10, while the SB4451-C0 was rated 8/10. The manufacturer of the SB4451-C0 provides a device control application. The Polk Audio Command Bar equipped with a microphone. The models under consideration can become part of a multiroom system.
Dolby Atmos audio decoder support is not implemented in either the Command Bar or SB4451-C0. Devices from this comparison cannot process surround sound due to lack of DTS:X. The Command Bar was rated 5/10, while the SB4451-C0 received a mark of 4/10 for multichannel surround.
