l would like to share my experience after comparing and testing two soundbars – VIZIO SB2920-C6 vs VIZIO SB4451-C0. The VIZIO SB2920-C6 was rated 4, while the VIZIO SB4451-C0 has a rating 7.2. The soundbars are equipped with a different number of buttons, power, volume down, volume up, input, Bluetooth for the SB2920-C6 and power, input, Bluetooth, volume down, volume up for the SB4451-C0.
Each of the models under consideration has active amplification type. A noticeable difference is the number of channels that SB2920-C6 has 2.0 and SB4451-C0 has 5.1. The built-in subwoofer is not implemented in any of these models. An external subwoofer connects to the SB2920-C6 via wired, but SB4451-C0 has wireless connection type. Rate 5 out of 10 received the VIZIO SB2920-C6 for audio features and specs, but the VIZIO SB4451-C0 received 8 out of 10. The SB4451-C0 can play audio from Spotify.
Wireless Internet connection is realized only in the SB4451-C0. Soundbars from this comparison have Bluetooth support. The HDMI Audio Return Channel (ARC) is implemented only in the SB4451-C0. Connecting devices via USB is possible in both models. We rated the connectivity of the SB2920-C6 at 5 out of 10, while the SB4451-C0 was rated 8/10.
The manufacturer of the SB4451-C0 provides a device control application. Soundbars in this review are not equipped with a microphone. The VIZIO SB4451-C0 may become part of a multiroom system.
Dolby Atmos audio decoder support is not implemented in either the SB2920-C6 or SB4451-C0. Devices from this comparison cannot process surround sound due to lack of DTS:X.
