In this article, we will talk about Samsung HW-A550 vs LG SN4Y comparison. The Samsung HW-A550 was rated 4.6, while the LG SN4Y has a rating 5.4. The soundbars are equipped with a different number of buttons, power, source, demo, volume down, volume up for the HW-A550 and power, volume down, volume up, function for the SN4Y.

Audio features

The manufacturer of the SN4Y provides a device control application. Soundbars in this review are not equipped with a microphone. The models under consideration cannot become part of a multiroom system.

Multichannel surround

Dolby Atmos audio decoder support is not implemented in either the HW-A550 or SN4Y. Devices from this comparison cannot process surround sound due to lack of DTS:X. The same score of 6/10 was put to the soundbars for multichannel surround support.
