l would like to share my experience after comparing and testing two soundbars – Sony HT-S350 vs LG SNC4R. The Sony HT-S350 was rated 5, while the LG SNC4R has a rating 5.2. The soundbars are equipped with a different number of buttons, power, volume down, volume up, Bluetooth, TV for the HT-S350 and power, volume down, volume up, function for the SNC4R.
Each of the models under consideration has active amplification type. A noticeable difference is the number of channels that HT-S350 has 2.1 and SNC4R has 4.1. These rivals can be compared in terms of power, 320 (overall) versus 420 (overall) according to devices. The built-in subwoofer is not implemented in any of these models. An external subwoofer can be connected to any of the units in this comparison. Audio features and specs of considered models we rated 7 out of 10 in our ranking.
Soundbars do not have AirPlay support. The units in this comparison do not support Spotify.
Both models do not have a wireless Wi-Fi interface. Soundbars from this comparison have Bluetooth support. The HDMI Audio Return Channel (ARC) is implemented only in the HT-S350. The connectivity of each of the models was estimated at 6/10.
The manufacturer of the SNC4R provides a device control application. Soundbars in this review are not equipped with a microphone. The models under consideration cannot become part of a multiroom system.
Dolby Atmos audio decoder support is not implemented in either the HT-S350 or SNC4R. Devices from this comparison cannot process surround sound due to lack of DTS:X. The HT-S350 was rated 4/10, while the SNC4R received a mark of 5/10 for multichannel surround.
