l would like to share my experience after comparing and testing two soundbars – Bose Soundbar 700 vs VIZIO SB3821-C6. The Bose Soundbar 700 was rated 6.6, while the VIZIO SB3821-C6 has a rating 4.5. The soundbars are equipped with a different number of buttons, action, microphone for the Soundbar 700 and power, input, Bluetooth, volume down, volume up for the SB3821-C6.
Each of the models under consideration has active amplification type. A noticeable difference is the number of channels that Soundbar 700 has 3.0 and SB3821-C6 has 2.1. The built-in subwoofer is not implemented in any of these models. An external subwoofer connects to the Soundbar 700 via wired and wireless, but SB3821-C6 has wireless connection type. Rate 6 out of 10 received the Bose Soundbar 700 for audio features and specs, but the VIZIO SB3821-C6 received 5 out of 10. The Soundbar 700 can play audio from Spotify.
Wireless Internet connection is realized only in the Soundbar 700. Soundbars from this comparison have Bluetooth support. The HDMI Audio Return Channel (ARC) is implemented only in the Soundbar 700. The connectivity of each of the models was estimated at 6/10. The manufacturer of the Soundbar 700 provides a device control application. The Bose Soundbar 700 equipped with a microphone. The models under consideration cannot become part of a multiroom system.
Dolby Atmos audio decoder support is not implemented in either the Soundbar 700 or SB3821-C6. Devices from this comparison cannot process surround sound due to lack of DTS:X. The Soundbar 700 was rated 4/10, while the SB3821-C6 received a mark of 5/10 for multichannel surround.
