If you have already decided that you want to buy a new soundbar, but still don’t know what exactly you want, the LG SP2 vs Samsung B550 comparison is here to offer you two decent solutions. The LG SP2 was rated 4.2, while the Samsung B550 has a rating 4.6.

Audio features

Each of the models under consideration has active amplification type. By the number of channels, the devices do not differ. These rivals can be compared in terms of power, 100 (overall) versus 410 (overall) according to devices. A built-in subwoofer is available only in the LG SP2. Rate 5 out of 10 received the LG SP2 for audio features and specs, but the Samsung B550 received 6 out of 10.

Streaming services

Soundbars do not have AirPlay support. The units in this comparison do not support Spotify.

Connectivity

Both models do not have a wireless Wi-Fi interface. Soundbars from this comparison have Bluetooth support. 1/1 HDMI inputs/outputs are in each of soundbars. Multichannel surround

Dolby Atmos audio decoder support is not implemented in either the SP2 or B550. Devices from this comparison cannot process surround sound due to lack of DTS:X. The SP2 was rated 5/10, while the B550 received a mark of 6/10 for multichannel surround.
