The soundbars are equipped with a different number of buttons, power, volume down, volume up, source, Bluetooth for the V51-H6 and power, volume down, volume up, function for the SN5Y.

Audio features

Each of the models under consideration has active amplification type. A noticeable difference is the number of channels that V51-H6 has 5.1 and SN5Y has 2.1. The built-in subwoofer is not implemented in any of these models. An external subwoofer connects to the V51-H6 via wired and wireless, but SN5Y has wireless connection type. Streaming services

Connectivity

Both models do not have a wireless Wi-Fi interface. Soundbars from this comparison have Bluetooth support. There are 0/1 HDMI inputs/outputs in the Vizio V51-H6 versus 1/1 HDMIs in the LG SN5Y. As in the V51-H6, so in the SN5Y there is the HDMI Audio Return Channel (ARC). Connecting devices via USB is possible in both models. Features

Each of the soundbars can be controlled using the application. The soundbars in this review are equipped with a microphone. The models under consideration cannot become part of a multiroom system.

Multichannel surround

Dolby Atmos audio decoder support is not implemented in either the V51-H6 or SN5Y. Devices from this comparison cannot process surround sound due to lack of DTS:X. The same score of 5/10 was put to the soundbars for multichannel surround support.
