l would like to share my experience after comparing and testing two soundbars – Samsung HW-Q60T vs VIZIO SB4451-C0. The Samsung HW-Q60T was rated 5.5, while the VIZIO SB4451-C0 has a rating 7.2. The soundbars are equipped with a different number of buttons, volume down, volume up, power, source for the HW-Q60T and power, input, Bluetooth, volume down, volume up for the SB4451-C0.
Each of the models under consideration has active amplification type. By the number of channels, the devices do not differ. The built-in subwoofer is not implemented in any of these models. An external subwoofer can be connected to any of the units in this comparison. Rate 7 out of 10 received the Samsung HW-Q60T for audio features and specs, but the VIZIO SB4451-C0 received 8 out of 10. The SB4451-C0 can play audio from Spotify.
Wireless Internet connection is realized only in the SB4451-C0. Soundbars from this comparison have Bluetooth support. There are 1/1 HDMI inputs/outputs in the Samsung HW-Q60T versus 1/0 HDMIs in the VIZIO SB4451-C0. As in the HW-Q60T, so in the SB4451-C0 there is the HDMI Audio Return Channel (ARC). Connecting devices via USB is possible in both models. We rated the connectivity of the HW-Q60T at 7 out of 10, while the SB4451-C0 was rated 8/10.
Each of the soundbars can be controlled using the application. Soundbars in this review are not equipped with a microphone. The VIZIO SB4451-C0 may become part of a multiroom system.
Dolby Atmos audio decoder support is not implemented in either the HW-Q60T or SB4451-C0. Devices from this comparison cannot process surround sound due to lack of DTS:X. The HW-Q60T was rated 5/10, while the SB4451-C0 received a mark of 4/10 for multichannel surround.
