The present review is aimed to compare two soundbars - LG SC9S vs Sony HT-A7000 that are meant to satisfy the needs of cinema and music lovers. Based on our rating, SC9S has a total rating of 6.4 out of 10 versus 8 for HT-A7000.
Both soundbars have active amplification type. A significant difference between the units in the number of channels, the LG SC9S has 2.1 versus 7.1.2 for the Sony HT-A7000. The HDMI Audio Return Channel (ARC) feature supports both devices. Both soundbars have a USB connector. For connectivity, each of the soundbars received a rating of 7/10.
App control is available for the SC9S. None of the models under consideration have a built-in microphone. Soundbars do not have Multi-room support.
Both devices have support for Dolby Atmos multichannel audio format. The surround sound technology DTS:X is supported by devices under review. For multichannel surround LG SC9S got a rating of 5, and Sony HT-A7000 10 out of 10.
