I had a chance to test and compare two models: Sony HT-A7000 vs Samsung S50B and this review should help people who are looking for a good soundbar. The Sony HT-A7000 was rated 8, while the Samsung S50B has a rating 4.6.

Audio features

Each of the models under consideration has active amplification type. A noticeable difference is the number of channels that HT-A7000 has 7.1.2 and S50B has 3.0. These rivals can be compared in terms of power, 500 (overall) versus 140 (overall) according to devices. A built-in subwoofer is available only in the Sony HT-A7000. Rate 9 out of 10 received the Sony HT-A7000 for audio features and specs, but the Samsung S50B received 6 out of 10.

The HT-A7000 can play audio from Spotify.

Connectivity

Wireless Internet connection is realized only in the HT-A7000. Soundbars from this comparison have Bluetooth support. There are 2/1 HDMI inputs/outputs in the Sony HT-A7000 versus 0/1 HDMIs in the Samsung S50B. As in the HT-A7000, so in the S50B there is the HDMI Audio Return Channel (ARC).
