I had a chance to test and compare two models: Sony HT-X8500 vs Klipsch Cinema 600 and this review should help people who are looking for a good soundbar. The Sony HT-X8500 was rated 6, while the Klipsch Cinema 600 has a rating 4.8.
Each of the models under consideration has active amplification type. A noticeable difference is the number of channels that HT-X8500 has 2.1 and Cinema 600 has 3.1. A built-in subwoofer is available only in the Sony HT-X8500. Audio features and specs of considered models we rated 6 out of 10 in our ranking.
Soundbars do not have AirPlay support. The units in this comparison do not support Spotify.
Both models do not have a wireless Wi-Fi interface. Soundbars from this comparison have Bluetooth support. There are 1/1 HDMI inputs/outputs in the Sony HT-X8500 versus 1/0 HDMIs in the Klipsch Cinema 600. As in the HT-X8500, so in the Cinema 600 there is the HDMI Audio Return Channel (ARC). The connectivity of each of the models was estimated at 8/10.
