I had a chance to test and compare two models: KEF HTF7003 vs Klipsch Cinema 600 and this review should help people who are looking for a good soundbar. The KEF HTF7003 was rated 5, while the Klipsch Cinema 600 has a rating 4.8.
Soundbars have different amplification type - passive versus active respectively to devices. A noticeable difference is the number of channels that HTF7003 has 3.0 and Cinema 600 has 3.1. These rivals can be compared in terms of power, 100 versus 600 (overall) according to devices. The built-in subwoofer is not implemented in any of these models. Audio features and specs of considered models we rated 6 out of 10 in our ranking.
Soundbars do not have AirPlay support. The units in this comparison do not support Spotify.
Both models do not have a wireless Wi-Fi interface. Bluetooth support integrated in the Cinema 600. The HDMI Audio Return Channel (ARC) is implemented only in the Cinema 600. We rated the connectivity of the HTF7003 at 4 out of 10, while the Cinema 600 was rated 8/10.
None of these soundbars can be controlled using the app. Soundbars in this review are not equipped with a microphone. The models under consideration cannot become part of a multiroom system.
Dolby Atmos audio decoder support is not implemented in either the HTF7003 or Cinema 600. Devices from this comparison cannot process surround sound due to lack of DTS:X.
