I had a chance to test and compare two models: Sony HT-G700 vs Klipsch Cinema 600 and this review should help people who are looking for a good soundbar. The Sony HT-G700 was rated 6.2, while the Klipsch Cinema 600 has a rating 4.8.

Audio features

Each of the models under consideration has active amplification type. By the number of channels, the devices do not differ. These rivals can be compared in terms of power, 400 (overall) versus 600 (overall) according to devices. The built-in subwoofer is not implemented in any of these models. An external subwoofer connects to the HT-G700 via wireless, but Cinema 600 has wired connection type. Rate 7 out of 10 received the Sony HT-G700 for audio features and specs, but the Klipsch Cinema 600 received 6 out of 10.

Streaming services

Soundbars do not have AirPlay support. The units in this comparison do not support Spotify.

Connectivity

Both models do not have a wireless Wi-Fi interface. Soundbars from this comparison have Bluetooth support. There are 1/1 HDMI inputs/outputs in the Sony HT-G700 versus 1/0 HDMIs in the Klipsch Cinema 600. As in the HT-G700, so in the Cinema 600 there is the HDMI Audio Return Channel (ARC). Dolby Atmos audio decoder is onboard the HT-G700. The HT-G700 can work with surround sound due to DTS:X support. The HT-G700 was rated 10/10, while the Cinema 600 received a mark of 6/10 for multichannel surround.
