Both soundbars have a USB connector. For connectivity, the HW-Q80R received a rating of 7/10 versus 8/10, respectively. App control is available for the HW-Q80R. A built-in microphone is present only on the HW-Q80R. Multi-room is only available for the Samsung HW-Q80R.
Both devices have support for Dolby Atmos multichannel audio format. The surround sound technology DTS:X is supported by devices under review. For multichannel surround, each of the opponents received 10 points out of 10.
