I had a chance to test and compare two models: Sony HT-A3000 vs Klipsch Cinema 600 and this review should help people who are looking for a good soundbar. The Sony HT-A3000 was rated 7.6, while the Klipsch Cinema 600 has a rating 4.8.
Each of the models under consideration has active amplification type. By the number of channels, the devices do not differ. These rivals can be compared in terms of power, 250 (overall) versus 600 (overall) according to devices. A built-in subwoofer is available only in the Sony HT-A3000. Rate 7 out of 10 received the Sony HT-A3000 for audio features and specs, but the Klipsch Cinema 600 received 6 out of 10.
The HT-A3000 can play audio from Spotify.
Wireless Internet connection is realized only in the HT-A3000. Soundbars from this comparison have Bluetooth support. There are 0/1 HDMI inputs/outputs in the Sony HT-A3000 versus 1/0 HDMIs in the Klipsch Cinema 600. As in the HT-A3000, so in the Cinema 600 there is the HDMI Audio Return Channel (ARC). We rated the connectivity of the HT-A3000 at 7 out of 10, while the Cinema 600 was rated 8/10.
None of these soundbars can be controlled using the app. Soundbars in this review are not equipped with a microphone. The models under consideration cannot become part of a multiroom system.
Dolby Atmos audio decoder is onboard the HT-A3000. The HT-A3000 can work with surround sound due to DTS:X support. The HT-A3000 was rated 10/10, while the Cinema 600 received a mark of 6/10 for multichannel surround.
