I had a chance to test and compare two models: Samsung HW-A650 vs Klipsch Cinema 600 and this review should help people who are looking for a good soundbar. The Samsung HW-A650 was rated 5, while the Klipsch Cinema 600 has a rating 4.8.
Each of the models under consideration has active amplification type. By the number of channels, the devices do not differ. These rivals can be compared in terms of power, 430 (overall) versus 600 (overall) according to devices. The built-in subwoofer is not implemented in any of these models. An external subwoofer connects to the HW-A650 via wireless, but Cinema 600 has wired connection type. Rate 7 out of 10 received the Samsung HW-A650 for audio features and specs, but the Klipsch Cinema 600 received 6 out of 10.
Soundbars do not have AirPlay support. The units in this comparison do not support Spotify.
Both models do not have a wireless Wi-Fi interface. Soundbars from this comparison have Bluetooth support. There are 1/1 HDMI inputs/outputs in the Samsung HW-A650 versus 1/0 HDMIs in the Klipsch Cinema 600. As in the HW-A650, so in the Cinema 600 there is the HDMI Audio Return Channel (ARC). The connectivity of each of the models was estimated at 8/10.
None of these soundbars can be controlled using the app. Soundbars in this review are not equipped with a microphone. The models under consideration cannot become part of a multiroom system.
Dolby Atmos audio decoder support is not implemented in either the HW-A650 or Cinema 600. Devices from this comparison cannot process surround sound due to lack of DTS:X. The same score of 6/10 was put to the soundbars for multichannel surround support.
