I had a chance to test and compare two models: LG SC9S vs Klipsch Cinema 600 and this review should help people who are looking for a good soundbar. The LG SC9S was rated 6.4, while the Klipsch Cinema 600 has a rating 4.8.
Each of the models under consideration has active amplification type. A noticeable difference is the number of channels that SC9S has 2.1 and Cinema 600 has 3.1. These rivals can be compared in terms of power, 310 (overall) versus 600 (overall) according to devices. The built-in subwoofer is not implemented in any of these models. An external subwoofer connects to the SC9S via wireless, but Cinema 600 has wired connection type. Audio features and specs of considered models we rated 6 out of 10 in our ranking.

Dolby Atmos audio decoder is onboard the SC9S. The SC9S can work with surround sound due to DTS:X support. The SC9S was rated 5/10, while the Cinema 600 received a mark of 6/10 for multichannel surround.
