I had a chance to test and compare two models: Nakamichi Shockwafe Ultra 9.2 vs JBL BAR 1000 and this review should help people who are looking for a good soundbar. The Nakamichi Shockwafe Ultra 9.2 was rated 8.2, while the JBL BAR 1000 has a rating 9. The soundbars are equipped with a different number of buttons, power, source, demo, volume down, volume up for the Shockwafe Ultra 9.2 and power, volume down, volume up for the BAR 1000.

Audio features

Each of the models under consideration has active amplification type. A noticeable difference is the number of channels that Shockwafe Ultra 9.2 has 9.2.4 and BAR 1000 has 7.1.4. The manufacturer of the BAR 1000 provides a device control application. The JBL BAR 1000 equipped with a microphone. The models under consideration cannot become part of a multiroom system.
