Samsung HW-T450 vs Klipsch Cinema 400 review

l would like to share my experience after comparing and testing two soundbars – Samsung HW-T450 vs Klipsch Cinema 400. The Samsung HW-T450 was rated 4.5, while the Klipsch Cinema 400 has a rating 4.6.

Audio features

Each of the models under consideration has active amplification type. By the number of channels, the devices do not differ. These rivals can be compared in terms of power, 200 (overall) versus 400 (overall) according to devices. The built-in subwoofer is not implemented in any of these models. An external subwoofer connects to the HW-T450 via wireless, but Cinema 400 has wired connection type. Rate 6 out of 10 received the Samsung HW-T450 for audio features and specs, but the Klipsch Cinema 400 received 5 out of 10.

Streaming services

Soundbars do not have AirPlay support. The units in this comparison do not support Spotify.

Connectivity

Both models do not have a wireless Wi-Fi interface. Soundbars from this comparison have Bluetooth support. The HDMI Audio Return Channel (ARC) is implemented only in the Cinema 400. We rated the connectivity of the HW-T450 at 5 out of 10, while the Cinema 400 was rated 8/10.

Features

None of these soundbars can be controlled using the app. Soundbars in this review are not equipped with a microphone. The models under consideration cannot become part of a multiroom system.

Multichannel surround

Dolby Atmos audio decoder support is not implemented in either the HW-T450 or Cinema 400. Devices from this comparison cannot process surround sound due to lack of DTS:X. The HW-T450 was rated 4/10, while the Cinema 400 received a mark of 6/10 for multichannel surround.
