l would like to share my experience after comparing and testing two soundbars – Bose Smart Soundbar 300 vs Klipsch Cinema 400. The Bose Smart Soundbar 300 was rated 7.6, while the Klipsch Cinema 400 has a rating 4.6.
Each of the models under consideration has active amplification type. A noticeable difference is the number of channels that Smart Soundbar 300 has 3.0 and Cinema 400 has 2.1. The built-in subwoofer is not implemented in any of these models. An external subwoofer connects to the Smart Soundbar 300 via wired and wireless, but Cinema 400 has wired connection type. Audio features and specs of considered models we rated 5 out of 10 in our ranking. The Smart Soundbar 300 can play audio from Spotify.
Wireless Internet connection is realized only in the Smart Soundbar 300. Soundbars from this comparison have Bluetooth support. 1/0 HDMI inputs/outputs are in each of soundbars. As in the Smart Soundbar 300, so in the Cinema 400 there is the HDMI Audio Return Channel (ARC). The connectivity of each of the models was estimated at 8/10. Dolby Atmos audio decoder support is not implemented in either the Smart Soundbar 300 or Cinema 400. Devices from this comparison cannot process surround sound due to lack of DTS:X. The Smart Soundbar 300 was rated 4/10, while the Cinema 400 received a mark of 6/10 for multichannel surround.
