Bose Soundbar 500 vs Klipsch Cinema 400 review
l would like to share my experience after comparing and testing two soundbars – Bose Soundbar 500 vs Klipsch Cinema 400. The Bose Soundbar 500 was rated 7.4, while the Klipsch Cinema 400 has a rating 4.6.
Audio features
Each of the models under consideration has active amplification type. A noticeable difference is the number of channels that Soundbar 500 has 3.0 and Cinema 400 has 2.1. The built-in subwoofer is not implemented in any of these models. An external subwoofer connects to the Soundbar 500 via wireless, but Cinema 400 has wired connection type. Rate 6 out of 10 received the Bose Soundbar 500 for audio features and specs, but the Klipsch Cinema 400 received 5 out of 10. The Soundbar 500 can play audio from Spotify.
Connectivity
Wireless Internet connection is realized only in the Soundbar 500. Soundbars from this comparison have Bluetooth support. 1/0 HDMI inputs/outputs are in each of soundbars. As in the Soundbar 500, so in the Cinema 400 there is the HDMI Audio Return Channel (ARC). The connectivity of each of the models was estimated at 8/10. The manufacturer of the Soundbar 500 provides a device control application. The Bose Soundbar 500 equipped with a microphone. The models under consideration cannot become part of a multiroom system.
Multichannel surround
Dolby Atmos audio decoder is onboard the Soundbar 500. Devices from this comparison cannot process surround sound due to lack of DTS:X. The Soundbar 500 was rated 4/10, while the Cinema 400 received a mark of 6/10 for multichannel surround.
