l would like to share my experience after comparing and testing two soundbars – Samsung HW-M360/ZA vs Klipsch Cinema 400. The Samsung HW-M360/ZA was rated 6.6, while the Klipsch Cinema 400 has a rating 4.6.
Each of the models under consideration has active amplification type. By the number of channels, the devices do not differ. These rivals can be compared in terms of power, 200 versus 400 (overall) according to devices. The built-in subwoofer is not implemented in any of these models. An external subwoofer connects to the HW-M360/ZA via wireless, but Cinema 400 has wired connection type. Rate 7 out of 10 received the Samsung HW-M360/ZA for audio features and specs, but the Klipsch Cinema 400 received 5 out of 10. The HW-M360/ZA can play audio from Spotify.
Both models do not have a wireless Wi-Fi interface. Soundbars from this comparison have Bluetooth support. The HDMI Audio Return Channel (ARC) is implemented only in the Cinema 400. We rated the connectivity of the HW-M360/ZA at 5 out of 10, while the Cinema 400 was rated 8/10.
The manufacturer of the HW-M360/ZA provides a device control application. Soundbars in this review are not equipped with a microphone. The Samsung HW-M360/ZA may become part of a multiroom system.
Dolby Atmos audio decoder support is not implemented in either the HW-M360/ZA or Cinema 400. Devices from this comparison cannot process surround sound due to lack of DTS:X. The HW-M360/ZA was rated 4/10, while the Cinema 400 received a mark of 6/10 for multichannel surround.
