I had a chance to test and compare two models: VIZIO M51ax-J6 vs Klipsch Cinema 600 and this review should help people who are looking for a good soundbar. The VIZIO M51ax-J6 was rated 5.4, while the Klipsch Cinema 600 has a rating 4.8.

Audio features

Each of the models under consideration has active amplification type. A noticeable difference is the number of channels that M51ax-J6 has 5.1 and Cinema 600 has 3.1. The built-in subwoofer is not implemented in any of these models. An external subwoofer connects to the M51ax-J6 via wireless, but Cinema 600 has wired connection type. Rate 7 out of 10 received the VIZIO M51ax-J6 for audio features and specs, but the Klipsch Cinema 600 received 6 out of 10.

Streaming services

Soundbars do not have AirPlay support. The units in this comparison do not support Spotify.

Connectivity

Both models do not have a wireless Wi-Fi interface. Soundbars from this comparison have Bluetooth support. There are 1/1 HDMI inputs/outputs in the VIZIO M51ax-J6 versus 1/0 HDMIs in the Klipsch Cinema 600. As in the M51ax-J6, so in the Cinema 600 there is the HDMI Audio Return Channel (ARC). The connectivity of each of the models was estimated at 8/10.

Dolby Atmos audio decoder is onboard the M51ax-J6. The M51ax-J6 can work with surround sound due to DTS:X support. The M51ax-J6 was rated 8/10, while the Cinema 600 received a mark of 6/10 for multichannel surround.
