Audio features
Both soundbars have active amplification type. A significant difference between the units in the number of channels, the LG SP7R has 7.1 versus 3.1 for the Samsung Q60C. The output power is different and equal to 580 (overall) W for the SP7R versus 340 (overall) W for the Q60C. Competitors do not have a built-in subwoofer. Compared soundbars have no app control. None of the models under consideration have a built-in microphone. Soundbars do not have Multi-room support.
Multichannel surround
Only the Q60C has a Dolby Atmos multichannel audio format support. A surround technology DTS:X is supported only by the Q60C. For multichannel surround LG SP7R got a rating of 6, and Samsung Q60C 10 out of 10.
