l would like to share my experience after comparing and testing two soundbars – Samsung HW-LST70T vs Klipsch Cinema 400. The Samsung HW-LST70T was rated 6.4, while the Klipsch Cinema 400 has a rating 4.6.
Each of the models under consideration has active amplification type. A noticeable difference is the number of channels that HW-LST70T has 3.0 and Cinema 400 has 2.1. These rivals can be compared in terms of power, 210 (overall) versus 400 (overall) according to devices. A built-in subwoofer is available only in the Samsung HW-LST70T. An external subwoofer connects to the HW-LST70T via wireless, but Cinema 400 has wired connection type. Rate 6 out of 10 received the Samsung HW-LST70T for audio features and specs, but the Klipsch Cinema 400 received 5 out of 10.
Soundbars do not have AirPlay support. The HW-LST70T can play audio from Spotify.
Wireless Internet connection is realized only in the HW-LST70T. Soundbars from this comparison have Bluetooth support. 1/0 HDMI inputs/outputs are in each of soundbars. The HDMI Audio Return Channel (ARC) is implemented only in the Cinema 400. We rated the connectivity of the HW-LST70T at 6 out of 10, while the Cinema 400 was rated 8/10. The manufacturer of the HW-LST70T provides a device control application. The Samsung HW-LST70T equipped with a microphone. The Samsung HW-LST70T may become part of a multiroom system.
Dolby Atmos audio decoder support is not implemented in either the HW-LST70T or Cinema 400. Devices from this comparison cannot process surround sound due to lack of DTS:X. The HW-LST70T was rated 5/10, while the Cinema 400 received a mark of 6/10 for multichannel surround.
