l would like to share my experience after comparing and testing two soundbars – Samsung HW-Q70T vs Klipsch Cinema 400. The Samsung HW-Q70T was rated 8.2, while the Klipsch Cinema 400 has a rating 4.6.
Each of the models under consideration has active amplification type. A noticeable difference is the number of channels that HW-Q70T has 3.1.2 and Cinema 400 has 2.1. These rivals can be compared in terms of power, 330 (overall) versus 400 (overall) according to devices. The built-in subwoofer is not implemented in any of these models. An external subwoofer connects to the HW-Q70T via wireless, but Cinema 400 has wired connection type. Rate 7 out of 10 received the Samsung HW-Q70T for audio features and specs, but the Klipsch Cinema 400 received 5 out of 10.
Soundbars do not have AirPlay support. The HW-Q70T can play audio from Spotify.
Wireless Internet connection is realized only in the HW-Q70T. Soundbars from this comparison have Bluetooth support. 1/0 HDMI inputs/outputs are in each of soundbars. As in the HW-Q70T, so in the Cinema 400 there is the HDMI Audio Return Channel (ARC). We rated the connectivity of the HW-Q70T at 9 out of 10, while the Cinema 400 was rated 8/10. The manufacturer of the HW-Q70T provides a device control application. The Samsung HW-Q70T equipped with a microphone. The Samsung HW-Q70T may become part of a multiroom system.
Dolby Atmos audio decoder is onboard the HW-Q70T. The HW-Q70T can work with surround sound due to DTS:X support. The HW-Q70T was rated 10/10, while the Cinema 400 received a mark of 6/10 for multichannel surround.
