l would like to share my experience after comparing and testing two soundbars – LG S95QR vs Klipsch Cinema 400. The LG S95QR was rated 8.8, while the Klipsch Cinema 400 has a rating 4.6.
Each of the models under consideration has active amplification type. A noticeable difference is the number of channels that S95QR has 9.1.5 and Cinema 400 has 2.1. These rivals can be compared in terms of power, 520 (overall) versus 400 (overall) according to devices. The built-in subwoofer is not implemented in any of these models. An external subwoofer connects to the S95QR via wireless, but Cinema 400 has wired connection type. Rate 9 out of 10 received the LG S95QR for audio features and specs, but the Klipsch Cinema 400 received 5 out of 10.
The S95QR can play audio from Spotify.
Wireless Internet connection is realized only in the S95QR. Soundbars from this comparison have Bluetooth support. There are 2/1 HDMI inputs/outputs in the LG S95QR versus 1/0 HDMIs in the Klipsch Cinema 400. As in the S95QR, so in the Cinema 400 there is the HDMI Audio Return Channel (ARC). We rated the connectivity of the S95QR at 9 out of 10, while the Cinema 400 was rated 8/10.
The manufacturer of the S95QR provides a device control application. Soundbars in this review are not equipped with a microphone. The models under consideration cannot become part of a multiroom system.
Dolby Atmos audio decoder is onboard the S95QR. The S95QR can work with surround sound due to DTS:X support. The S95QR was rated 10/10, while the Cinema 400 received a mark of 6/10 for multichannel surround.
