l would like to share my experience after comparing and testing two soundbars – Bose Smart Soundbar 300 vs LG SNC4R. The Bose Smart Soundbar 300 was rated 7.6, while the LG SNC4R has a rating 5.2. The soundbars are equipped with a different number of buttons, microphone, action for the Smart Soundbar 300 and power, volume down, volume up, function for the SNC4R.
Each of the models under consideration has active amplification type. A noticeable difference is the number of channels that Smart Soundbar 300 has 3.0 and SNC4R has 4.1. The built-in subwoofer is not implemented in any of these models. An external subwoofer connects to the Smart Soundbar 300 via wired and wireless, but SNC4R has wireless connection type. Rate 5 out of 10 received the Bose Smart Soundbar 300 for audio features and specs, but the LG SNC4R received 7 out of 10. The Smart Soundbar 300 can play audio from Spotify.
Wireless Internet connection is realized only in the Smart Soundbar 300. Soundbars from this comparison have Bluetooth support. The HDMI Audio Return Channel (ARC) is implemented only in the Smart Soundbar 300. We rated the connectivity of the Smart Soundbar 300 at 8 out of 10, while the SNC4R was rated 6/10. Each of the soundbars can be controlled using the application. The Bose Smart Soundbar 300 equipped with a microphone. The Bose Smart Soundbar 300 may become part of a multiroom system.
Dolby Atmos audio decoder support is not implemented in either the Smart Soundbar 300 or SNC4R. Devices from this comparison cannot process surround sound due to lack of DTS:X. The Smart Soundbar 300 was rated 4/10, while the SNC4R received a mark of 5/10 for multichannel surround.
