VIZIO SB3821-C6 vs LG SNC4R review

l would like to share my experience after comparing and testing two soundbars – VIZIO SB3821-C6 vs LG SNC4R. The VIZIO SB3821-C6 was rated 4.5, while the LG SNC4R has a rating 5.2. The soundbars are equipped with a different number of buttons, power, input, Bluetooth, volume down, volume up for the SB3821-C6 and power, volume down, volume up, function for the SNC4R.

Audio features

Each of the models under consideration has active amplification type. A noticeable difference is the number of channels that SB3821-C6 has 2.1 and SNC4R has 4.1. The built-in subwoofer is not implemented in any of these models. An external subwoofer can be connected to any of the units in this comparison. Rate 5 out of 10 received the VIZIO SB3821-C6 for audio features and specs, but the LG SNC4R received 7 out of 10.

Streaming services

Soundbars do not have AirPlay support. The units in this comparison do not support Spotify.

Connectivity

Both models do not have a wireless Wi-Fi interface. Soundbars from this comparison have Bluetooth support. Neither the SB3821-C6 nor SNC4R has the HDMI Audio Return Channel (ARC). Connecting devices via USB is possible in both models. The connectivity of each of the models was estimated at 6/10.

Features

The manufacturer of the SNC4R provides a device control application. Soundbars in this review are not equipped with a microphone. The models under consideration cannot become part of a multiroom system.

Multichannel surround

Dolby Atmos audio decoder support is not implemented in either the SB3821-C6 or SNC4R. Devices from this comparison cannot process surround sound due to lack of DTS:X. The same score of 5/10 was put to the soundbars for multichannel surround support.
