l would like to share my experience after comparing and testing two soundbars – Vizio V21-H8 vs LG SNC4R. The Vizio V21-H8 was rated 5.5, while the LG SNC4R has a rating 5.2. The soundbars are equipped with a different number of buttons, power, volume down, volume up, source, Bluetooth for the V21-H8 and power, volume down, volume up, function for the SNC4R.
Each of the models under consideration has active amplification type. A noticeable difference is the number of channels that V21-H8 has 2.1 and SNC4R has 4.1. The built-in subwoofer is not implemented in any of these models. An external subwoofer connects to the V21-H8 via wired and wireless, but SNC4R has wireless connection type. Rate 6 out of 10 received the Vizio V21-H8 for audio features and specs, but the LG SNC4R received 7 out of 10.
Soundbars do not have AirPlay support. The units in this comparison do not support Spotify.
Both models do not have a wireless Wi-Fi interface. Soundbars from this comparison have Bluetooth support. The HDMI Audio Return Channel (ARC) is implemented only in the V21-H8. Connecting devices via USB is possible in both models. The connectivity of each of the models was estimated at 6/10. Each of the soundbars can be controlled using the application. The Vizio V21-H8 equipped with a microphone. The models under consideration cannot become part of a multiroom system.
Dolby Atmos audio decoder support is not implemented in either the V21-H8 or SNC4R. Devices from this comparison cannot process surround sound due to lack of DTS:X. The same score of 5/10 was put to the soundbars for multichannel surround support.
