I had a chance to test and compare two models: LG SNC4R vs Klipsch Cinema 600 and this review should help people who are looking for a good soundbar. The LG SNC4R was rated 5.2, while the Klipsch Cinema 600 has a rating 4.8.
Each of the models under consideration has active amplification type. A noticeable difference is the number of channels that SNC4R has 4.1 and Cinema 600 has 3.1. These rivals can be compared in terms of power, 420 (overall) versus 600 (overall) according to devices. The built-in subwoofer is not implemented in any of these models. An external subwoofer connects to the SNC4R via wireless, but Cinema 600 has wired connection type. Rate 7 out of 10 received the LG SNC4R for audio features and specs, but the Klipsch Cinema 600 received 6 out of 10.
Soundbars do not have AirPlay support. The units in this comparison do not support Spotify.
Both models do not have a wireless Wi-Fi interface. Soundbars from this comparison have Bluetooth support. The HDMI Audio Return Channel (ARC) is implemented only in the Cinema 600. We rated the connectivity of the SNC4R at 6 out of 10, while the Cinema 600 was rated 8/10.
The manufacturer of the SNC4R provides a device control application. Soundbars in this review are not equipped with a microphone. The models under consideration cannot become part of a multiroom system.
Dolby Atmos audio decoder support is not implemented in either the SNC4R or Cinema 600. Devices from this comparison cannot process surround sound due to lack of DTS:X. The SNC4R was rated 5/10, while the Cinema 600 received a mark of 6/10 for multichannel surround.
